Anyone know how to dissolve window/metal glue?

Jeff, the heat could work and a little 3M adhesive remover, that stuff work really well

Heat? I've never done it myself, but I would assume that you could
gently heat the area until it's hot enough for the glue to "gel", but
not hot enough to damage the glass or metal.

An aggressive "Goo-gone" might also do the trick (isn't there a 3M
product that dissolves glue?), but it might be difficult since it would
have to "creep" to access the glue in the middle. Several applications
might do the trick.

Get back to us on what worked for you though - that's a question I've
wanted answered myself...

Mark.
