Audi TT seats in a rocco?

I can not be sure on the mk1 rocco seats, I just assumed they were like
rabbit/jetta(mk1). Mk1 jetta can NOT take mk2 seats without modification.
I've tried with my brothers(now my) mk1 gli. The lever is on the opposite
side. I've also talked with a few people that have rocco seats(mk2) in mk1
jettas that all said they had to modify the seats(I don't know exactly how
to do it however).
Perhaps the tracks are different in mk1 rabbits then mk1 jettas? I know for
a fact that a2(mk2 rocco) style seats will not fit.
