Could be the blue temp sensor on the neck between the #3 & 4 plugs. It also
could be the WOT and idle switches. Try unplugging the temp sensor once the
car is warm, then reconnect and try to unplug the other switch pair. I'll
bet one of those 2 combos will work. My 91 Jetta GL had the similar problem.
