I was going to stay out of it, but just couldn't help myself...Working at 
Home Depot I get a to hear a lot of interesting projects and questions(more 
like dumb and unsafe).  One of the best I've gotten was a guy that called up 
wanting a quick quote for fencing in his backyard.  "How much will it cost 
to fence in my backyard?" Me- "How big is your yard?" Him- "I don't know."  
Me-"Well do you have a rough idea?"  Him-"No, can't you just give me a rough 
idea?"  Me- " I need to know how much area we are talking here; it could be 
as little as four fence panels to hundreds."  Him-"Well I live in the back 
of my trailer park so I have that whole big area" Me-"Well without 
measurements there really is  nothing I can do for you"(as I think Oh THAT 
whole big area-what's wrong with me for not knowing that?  sarcastically).
These days it's difusing situations with pissed off customers who are mad at 
my plumbing associates for telling them they have to use flare fittings with 
gas(without it-possible BOOM) or oil tank vents and fills must be the same 
diameter to fill right(they don't understand if you pump 200 gallons of oil 
into a tank that the escaping air needs the same diameter pipe to escape.
