Victor Jr.'s (disappointing) day at the races

FWIW, my tranny has a 1.75 2nd (compare to 1.94 for wide ratio 5-speeds, and 2.12 for close ratio
boxes) and a 1.06 3rd.  

I have to learn to keep my foot out of it on launch!  Yes it was coldish, 45-50ish.
