I know we are all looking for buried treasure, i.e. high quality @ cheap
cost, but in the real world it just doesn't happen.
No free lunch....
Get whatcha' pay for...
etc.
In my experience (and I have plenty), you are better off in the long run
spending a few extra dollars to get the good stuff.  But, hey....
It's your money.
And some people ARE on tight budgets, I understand that.
