Does this REALLY do anything beneficial?

I have one but haven't gotten it installed yet. Still trying to figure out what to do with the vaccum line off the fuel regulator. It normally plugs into the part of the air box that this replaces. Also trying to find a nice intake tube and filter. Here is a link to someone who has down it to the Scirocco on VwVortex that asnwered a thread I started. http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1352206 He said he thought he just pluged the line for the fuel regulator.

I have been on numerous Volvo forums but haven't gotten any real usful information. Their style of air flow box doesn't have a fuel regulator integrated on it like ours.

I hope to have mine installed before Cincy as my air box is half cut away already anyways.

Don

Cast cold-air intake. I see them all over eBay, do they do anything
meaningful or no?
