3A Bottom end rebuild suggestions

You know what... Get ring, bearings, and seals.. And you will not have to
think about it for a long time.
Oh yeah run a dunglebeary honed in each chamber to refresh the cross-hatch.

Get yourself a nice wheel wire brush for a drill... I use it all the time to
cleaned and polish my bolts from rusty to shiny in less than 2 mins a bolt.

There is a new product for the hobbyist mechanic, it's a bucket filled with
ceramic (I think) beads and you drop your nuts/bolts in for 45 mins - 2
hours and they come out, spotlessly clean and like new (remind me of a
vibrating rock cleaner tools) . I have been wanting to buy one (was a
counter top model for 39.99$) but I lost the info...(DOH DOH DOH DOH!)

I understand havent done my rebuild before june 2003, was june 1989 :) I as
REALLY slow..lol now I have 1 rebuild engine in the shed, and 2 more on the
way and 2 more waitting to get done.... I am starting to working on heads :)
(havent done one of those in more than a decade ...lol) but memory is
surprising... It comes back.. Read bentley then haynes(better reading for
teardown) it will come back to you.. :)
