experience with Corrado G60 oil pan gasket

Does the G60 oil pan gasket have an integral oil restrictor in it?  Has
anyone ever retrofitted this part to an engine other than the G60 block?  
Any issues with clearance on the oil pump pickup or other required mods?

According to the parts guide, this gasket, along with all the other
"rubber" gaskets requires an M6X17 bolt instead of the M6x14 bolt used by
the regular cork gaskets.  How critical do you figure the extra 3 mm of 
length is (these rubber gaskets have little metal bushings in them that 
keem the gasket from being overtightened and deformed.)
