IRS discussion



Because the beam connects each rear wheel, any forces acting on one wheel also affects the other wheel.  Hence, they are not "independent" of each other.
 Although, the design is such that they're as independant as any non-independant system can be...
(I'm not sure what I just said.....)

  Could it be that the beam from side to side be concidered a torsional 
  element and therefore Independant for each wheel?
