2.0 vs. 1.8 ported

Brian,
   Why is the 1.8 head better to modify?  Can you explain why you feel that
way?  I am going to be looking at this in the very near future, as I have
just bought a pickup with a 2.0 16V complete...

    i wanted to stop you before making a bad choice. go with the 1.8 ported
and a good valve job. i said a good one now not stock. and dont forget to do
some chamber mods. the 1.8 is the way to go for what you are discussing. you
will be better off.
