You sure they did not put on into the cat either?
Maybe they converted the CIS-lambda into CIS, then no need for 02 sensor.
Check if you find the green wire on your harness that would normally go to
plug into the O2sensor wire.

Beside you can always add one to the manifold/down-pipe and hook it up

While I was poking around under my 85 replacing the shift linkage and 
bushings I was looking up at my exhaust. I noticed that I have a 4-2 
manifold and a 2-1 downpipe and there is NO oxygen sensor. How would this 
have been altered to run without it since the sensor feeds info to the 
computer?
