Wheel offset question

Depending on the thickness of the hub of the wheel, you can machine between
3 - 5 mm's off. No more. So the max you could end up at is an 18mm offset,
which will still rub, unless your planning to do E30 M3 box style flared
fenders. I had a set of wheels machined 4mm off the front hubs because of
rubbing problems at stock height. Even after it still rubbed but much less.

Look at that wheel gap!

What wheels are you looking for?

Seems like taking that much off would jeopardize the integrity, no?
