Cincy 2k4, basking in the afterglow

Well, despite my constant whining, I managed to get both my cars there and 
back without incident. And the only "failure" in our group was a hood latch 
cable, so not a big deal. No signs of Bambi except those already deceased, 
and the local constabularies were occupied with customers as we rolled by 
them. A pleasant and uneventful trip. And the weather was drop dead 
gorgeous. That's the first good thing. ( I love the convoys...)

So a few comments:
1. Daun rocks totally and so do his parents. As usual, thanks SO much.

2. The TST also kicks some serious ass. They have these sickeningly clean, 
rust free cars, and then tease us with that scrumptious Texas brisket. Like 
I can get that again till next year. Mmmm Mmmmm good. They even gave me a T 
shirt, thanks guys.

3. On the topic of T shirts, Brett outdid himself this year, two designs, 
both awesome, and even sized to fit someone other than the incredible hulk. 
Well done. The only bone I have to pick with him is he didn't manage to 
bring the gorgeuos white drool worthy car as well as the GRM car. (as if 
there wasn't enough there to lust after)

4. I just can't tell you guys and gals how much I already miss you all, the 
cars are just a bonus.  Truly a family I'd say, don't ever let that change. 
(getting all sentimental here, sniff..)

5. Well, then there are the cars. You name it, we saw it. Lots of Mkis this 
year too, an excellent mix of ultra clean stock examples, super modified 
beasts, works in progress and faithful daily drivers. Not to mention the 
parts mart. I had stuff packed in both cars. And the steady non-stop drone 
of those wonderful familiar engnes going up and down the road.

6. To those who couldn't make it....get your shit in order for next year! If 
you start now, you should be fine.

That's it from me, I'm already packing for next year.
