16x7.5 Wheels

Interesting. I will most likely go with the 40s as they are about $10 cheaper across the board. I'm in between the Sumitomo HTR+ and the Yokohama Avid H4S. Both are Ultra High Performance All-Season and have gotten good reviews. I really like the BFG Scorchers, but with a 300 treadwear I'm afraid they won't last more than 1 season. Actually, after doing side by side comparision, I'll most likely go with the Avids. Anyone with experience with these?

Having just changed from 205/40-16 to 205/45-16 I agree with Michael that the ride is better and you
feel much less vulnerable when hitting potholes.
The 45's did slow the car down a noticeable amount though!
Not sure that they look better (although this is clearly an opinion). The 45's look too meaty, the
40's too slivery.
I think I'm going to try 215/40-16's next. The sidewall height is just in between the two 205
options.
Probably Pirelli P-Zero Nero's instead of Kumhos.
In any event I've had no rubbing issues at all with either size on 7" rims with Eibachs and Konis.
