16V Transmission Troubles

To further describe the vibration... the pedals vibrate.. and it seems to
be comming from under the center console....

Check to see if there's a shiny spot on the exhaust. That's where its
hitting. Look where it crosses the sway bar.

Well.. it's very loud.. and its comming from underneath the car.. it seems
like when theres a lot of torque... thats when it's vibrating.. sometimes
the tach bounces around... i dunno maybe its my transmission mount...?!

First Post for me... uhm.. well here's the problem. a day or so ago my
transmission started to act up... starts out just fine... shifts just
fine.. when I hit 3000-3200 RPM all of a sudden there's this vibration i
dunno.. it's weird.. a quick shift into the next gear and then its gone...
until you reach 3-3.2k RPM in that gear...

I hope its something simple!


Any ideas?!

  Welcome...  I personally think that this is not necessarily a tranny
problem.  Can you try to explain what the vibration is like?  If I were you,
I would see if you could not put it on a lift and let someone drive it and
see if you could not simulate the problem.  You can usually find things you
would not normally find if you were simulating a driving situation up on a
lift.  I know most cannot do this, but I offer it to you anyway.  You never
know...
