Whats going on with the texans?

Well, I'm not gonna say that he screwed anyone over.  There is no telling
whats going on in his life and basiclly it's non of our damn business.
People change, people move on, thats life.  Sure, it would have been nice
for some of you to have shots and some of the parts that have ended up in
the boneyard, but to be completly honest, it's not something he had to do.
It just would have been nice.

As for the tech-notes, I posted up an offer on the Tex to start a dialog
with him about hosting them.  Not sure if he'll see it so if anyone has his
direct e-mail addy and wouldn't mind sending it my way that would be great.

I'm not going to say anything for or against Pat for the simple reason that
it's obvious that something happened in his life and it appears to be major.
He's dealing with it in his own way.  While we may see it as a horrible way
to go about it, I'm sure that he feels justified for whatever reason.
Whatever that reason is though, it's his.  We ( I ) don't have to agree or
like it or know what it is.  I'm sad to see him go but maybe we'll all get
lucky and whatever has caused this shift will slacken up and he will be able
to at least drop in and say hi on occasion.

While I've basiclly been non-existant on the list myself as of late due to
other obligations, I certainly have noticed all the termoil and folks
leaving.  I hate to see them go, but it happens.  So to those that have
gone, good luck, hope to see ya around sometime.  To those that are still
here, no reason to be pissed at these people.  If things never changed
around there, it would get pretty damn boring.  I'm sure my time will come
when I'll leave the "nest".  Granted it's not like I'm of major importance
here, I mainly lurk and learn with an ocassional $.02 chipped in here and
there.  But hey, we are all freaks for the same thing.

Anyway, if any of you hear from Patrick directly, please ask him to e-mail
me if he doesn't mind.  I'm gonna go back into my hole now and maybe crawl
back out tomorrow.  Nite all.
