Ian,

You can argue till your blue in the face with Dave...won't make a
difference.  Every list he is on he loves to get on his soap box and
preach why he is always right.

I've gotten tired of it myself, and I find that a simple mail filter to
send any of his emails directly to the trash is the most effective method
of never having to deal with him again.
