Congrats, Brian.  It sounds like fun.  I have always liked the 944 body over
the 924...  But on the topic of the 924, would anyone like a free one?  Pics
can eventually be sent...  The car is complete, silver, and I think it is
like a '79 or so...  N/A, and not exciting, but it IS a CHEAP Porsche...  If
anyone is interested, it is in Purcell, OK, south of Oklahoma City about 45
miles...

It is an 83 2.5L NA, timing belt is sheared. So there maybe some valve
damage, I will know this week when I bring the boroscope home from work to
peer into the cylinders. I know it is an interference engine and valve
damage could have happened but what the hell, $400 is cheap for a Porsche.
That and I have already been online and found a rebuilt head for $475,
gaskets and a water pump I may have a new daily driver for awhile.
