Timing belt change don't think I'm gonna do it

OK, you all talked me back into it, I'm going to go give it another try using 
everyone's suggestions.  I can't believe I didn't think of putting it in gear 
to stop the engine rotation, good call.  Oh, quick question. Bentely says to 
pull the water pump pulley.  Why do I need to pull the water pump pulley, 
Can't I just pull the main crank pulley and be done with it?
