Air intake on 16v

I'm sorry, but the CIS and CIS-E warm air system on Sciroccos is solely
for emissions, it has squat to do with cold starting or cold running
driveability.  For example - the European 1.8L DX engine with CIS did not
have a warm intake air system, at least prior to '89.

If we were talking carburetted engines, or even digifant, which had "cold 
climate" modifications to its air preheat system to avoid icing on the 
MAF, it would be a different story.
