Best investment so far

If you have a direct contact I would be interested too! The Jetta will
defiantly need them soon.
I did manage to get the Jetta driver's side door working by just
cleaning and lubricating with WD-40. As many listers suggested it is
simple to remove the screw (on the door jam, above the latch mechanism)
and slide the handle out a bit. It is now exposed for cleaning and
lubricating. Many listers suggested that it is a good preventative
maintenance item that only takes a few minuets a door.
Thanks, Rick.

What do they look like and where can a person get them? Are they good
for all year VW's?

I was getting tired of the old door handles in my car, so about 2
months ago I relented and bought on ebay a set of chinese door handles
paid $20 for them and got them in about 7 days from Hong Kong. Got
them and put them aside saying I would get to them eventually, well
after a couple of really cold days here in Maryland and my drivers
side handle getting stuck in the open position I finally installed
them today took about 20min total. I love them no more squeezing to
open just a light pull on the handle and the door opens easily also
the lock seems to turn easier.

that is my tale for this month.

Roger
