(OT-ish) Musing on the state of affairs

I'm a mostly lurker in all my online goings. while I read SFI and blade
forums multiple times daily and I check my mail about once a day, my
usual input is about twice a week for forums, and less for the rocco
list. My big problem is that as a high school student without a job I
have very little money to spend making my car work better.
I do have a bunch of spare parts that I have no idea how to identify
though. I figure that I could offer much of it up for sale if I were to
find someone who could go through it with me and figure out if any of it
works.

Is no one in the Salem, OR area on the list? I know I have seen at least
4 other roccos in the area. 1 primer with mars red chips still attached
that resides behind burger king on river road, one black 16v that is/was
over on C st. between 17th and 16th, I saw a red 16v? by Sunnyview, and
one more that I can't remember where. If any of you are on this list you
can have first dibs at what ever works, I still have to charge for it
since it will be funding my senior project.

Back on topic: it is normal for the old members to leave after a time.
Usually they are slowly replaced as the group grows. Then there are the
veterans of the group who refuse to give into common sense. I salute
you. As I said, I am in the lurker category. The main thing that has
kept me from really contributing is a lack of funds to spend on my car.

PS. I'm looking for a name for the mk1.
