Cooling Questions, Oil temp rising

FWIW, this happened when my car was about 8 years old, in Oklahoma in the summer. I changed the thermostat and coolant and then decided that wasn't it. The water temp wouldn't go up too badly but the oil would run around 120 on the highway. A new radiator cured the problem.
