Did anyone else get burned by Chris selling the Bently Manual on CD?  He
claimed that many of the CD's he mailed got lost in the mail???  I think
that is BS.
 
Here are his and my responses:
 
WTF kind of BS is that?  What kind of business do you run?  Why didn't
you tell everyone that the chances of getting the CD are slim to nil.
In fact maybe I should tell the whole list what kind of business you
run.  You want me to pay you more money for something that I have
already paid for and you can't even guarantee that I get it!  I have
bought and sold parts all over the country and not lost a single one.  I
think that you better come up with a better answer than that or I will
see to it that you don't do business with the list any more or any other
forum I can get my hands on.  Now I have been patient enough with you.
So you better let me know soon what you intend to do.

I apologize for you not getting it.  I don't understand why they are
loosing so many!
 
If I change ways of shipping them I will have to charge more.  UPS will
cost most around 7 - 8 bucks  so I will have to charge everyone $10 to
ship them.
 
If you want me to send it UPS I will need another $5.  If I ship another
one via mail, I cannot guarantee it will get there.  I will only attempt
twice. To send it again I am already pulling out of my pocket to send
it.

And I still have not received mine.  I think that if you lose that many
with whatever postal service you are using then maybe you should change
to someone more reliable.  Please get mine out as soon as possible.

I have a copy of the Bently Manual for all Scirocco's and Cabriolet's 
from 1985 to 1993 on CD as a PDF file.  I checked it out and it is a 
great version!  Any on the site that own a 85 - 93 need this.  It 
doesn't get torn up and greasy!!  To members I will send you a copy on 
CD for only $5.  Email me and I will provide PayPal instructions.
