4 to 5 lug wheel adaptors, good or bad?



I wouldn't be too concerned about the durability of the adapters.  While
they may seem to be a questionable solution at first glance, adapters of
this type have been used successfully for many years on cars MUCH
heavier/faster than the Scirocco.
