Anyone try Seafoam?



I wouldn't bother cleaning carbon out of the combustion chamber unless you
have a high compression engine.. you'll only lose power.

Carbon buildup will increase your compression and you'll actually make
(negligably) more power. But on an already high compression engine, the
carbon can become a problem because it can (as I understand it) get real
hot and result in detonation. Well, either that or increase your
compression beyond the point where knocking begins with the fuel you use.
