question on tires and ride once again(long)

Check for work ball joint and more importantly worn inner tie rod ends.

same problem. Our tires are 14" and the inside is beginning to 
scallop. The noise can be quite loud at high speeds. Our tires are 
Coopers (forget the model). We had shocks installed all the way around 
and the ride is sort of stiff. We haven't had an alignment done yet but 
we are going to schedule one as soon as we pay off the tires.
