Clutch Release Bearing Replacement

How hard of a job is it to replace the clutch release bearing?  The car is an '88 16v with stock tranny.  I'd say i'm fairly mechanically competent (i've done a head gasket on the car), and have a bently manual.  Just wanted to get some first hand knowledge as to how bad a job it is going to be.  My release bearing is making quite a bit of noise and needs to be replaced.  TIA!
