a2 subframe into an a1?

yup, thats my current intent for the twin. it wouldnt be easy converting a
stock a1 to this config though, as it would require heavy reinforcement at
the rear of the front wheel wells (where the rear part of the a2 subframe
would bolt to the chassis). the a1 frame is designed to distribute the
stresses around the engine bay (seperate mount points for steering, engine,
etc), where the a2 focuses it mostly at a single area (lower-front
firewall).
