Painting Exhaust Manifold

There is a coating I used to apply to my Yamaha exhaust pipe, it was called "Stove Black".  Not a paint really, but it was applied with a brush or spray.  
That stuff WORKED. 
 Haven't seen it available for awhile, so now I use Kryon BBQ Black aerosol paint.  It works okay, too.
