Oil and filters...

I've been using the Fram 2870A for the last 5 months (oil changed once/month) and have had no problems until now. Would this be a cause?

the oil pressure blows out the seal and the oil comes right out!

out... therefor, my guess that it was just oil burning on hot surfaces
(exhaust). When driving slow, amount of blue smoke was less. To make
clear, it wasn't a dense cloud. In fact, my initial thought was "I need to
clean my rear window" as it was very faint. If it wasn't from knowing I
blow no smoke out of my exhaust and having good vision (20/20), I don't
think I would have noticed anything wrong. And it's not spewing when not
running. Only a slow drip when off. When I pulled over and popped the
hood, there was no oil visible from above the engine. Only saw it when I
looked under car. When I get home, I'll have to put it up on the ramps and
check underneath to see how bad it really is. My first mission is to redo
the filter (with new filter) with the new wrench and see if it still leaks.
If so, then it's not the filter. Hopefully (pray pray pray), it's just the
filter.
