ot: spark plug options

I have bosch platinums in my JH.  I have never been impressed with them.  I
was told recently by a mechanic that the old style AC Delco and resistor
Champions work better in older engines like mine and that the bosch
platinums work better in newer type engines.  So I was wondering what the
listers are using and what worked for you guys the best.
