Storing Wheels & Tires

clean/scrub sidewalls to get residuals off. apply generous silicone (i.e.
black magic), deflate to ~10 psi (to maintain shape), stack on side in a
cool, shady area. you dont want any sunlight hitting them at all actually.
use a closet if possible.

Subject: Storing Wheels & Tires

Anyone have any advice on storing wheels and tires? I probably won't be
finishing my project until next summer (maybe) and I'm using wheels and
tires off of my totalled car. They both are in excellent shape (tires have
less than 2000 miles on them) and I want to make sure they stay that way
until my scirocco is finished. Thanks!

Dave
