Subject: Removal of the foam from under the hood?

What is the best way to remove the foam and it's adhesive from the
underside of the hood?  I have sections of it that are crumbing and
other sections that are pealing.  I want to remove it all!  Also, I will
be taking the hood off anyway so this is a perfect time to do it.
