Steering problems




>From the factory only the RH (pass side) tierod is adjustable.  The LH 
(driver's side) is one piece.  If you replace the LH tie rod end, you have 
to replace the innner rod with a threaded one and get a new end.

If you have adjustables on both sides, then your LH tie rod has been 
replaced at some point.  VW carried on this practice at least through '92.
