Sudden Stall-HELP

Wow, previous email got messed up!

I wanted to say, also, without the instrument cluster, your alternator will never start charging the system.  The alternator light is integral to the exciter circuit for the alt...without that light, no charge.

Will the car not run at all with a  dead battery? I mean REAL dead. 
Does not seem to even hold a charge. We boosted and let the battery 
charge from the donor battery for 10 minutes. the car would run fine 
for about 2 minutes then quit again. Now we are stuck in some damn 
parking lot across  town. No way of testing the charging system 
as...well the insides have no gauge cluster install as of yet (interior 
to be finished)
