tensioner tool?

I bought the tool after the first time I did a timing belt on a VW. Much easier than all the alternative methods. Now I have no problems with removing my belt and having to re-tension it.

Worth while $10 IMO.

I haven't used a special tool, unless you call a nail a 'tool.' I put it in one of the holes, put
the wrench on the nut and let it push the nail (rotating the tensioner - tightening the belt as it
as it tightens the nut), until the belt is at the specified tension. I then remove the nail and
nip down the nut. Takes a little diddling to get the nut and wrench in the proper position so you
reach belt tightness and nut tightness simultaneously; that takes all of 30 seconds.

Another Cheapass® idea.
