Gary,

Poking fun at Patrick is my job, just ask him. Since he is my running =
buddy and we are always working on each others car he will know what I =
meant. I poke fun of no individual that I don't know, that would be =
rude.

And correct you are about swept volume, now be detail the factors that =
are needed to calculate the compression ratio.

Brian

no poking fun just want more info, I already know but the are ours that =
can learn form our thread

  Just to be clear: compression ratio is the displacement difference =
between cyclinder swept volume VS the head's volume. It is not based =
from atmospheric pressures.=20
  Another point:=20
  I don't see any reason to poke fun at people. If someone has something =
to add, that is great, but "ribbing" is not very polite, especially when =
it comes to insulting one's intelligence. I think we were all tought (or =
should have been) that if you don't have anything good to say then =
don't.=20

  I'd rather not get pointless emails in my inbox of that nature......=20
