Door Hinge Pins

I posted about door hinge pins just a week ago. I did it nice and easy.

Put the drill away boy!

You remove the door, you heat the pin - at this point the pin is with the
door. Then you whack the pin with a punch, just about one or two good whack,
and if it was heated properly, it just goes plop!

Get two hinges, and two pins at the dealer, they are cheap, and usually in
stock.

Of course you do both pins.

Cheers.

was to drill the center out. This will allow you to drift the pins out, I'll
try it today on the door I have behind the fence and take some pics. By
drilling the center it allows the outer walls of the pin to compress (since
it has a taper) and tap right out.
