Rear caliper upgrades

Does anyone know if '90 Passat rear brakes will work on my '87 Scirocco?

Next question: I can get a kit from Mark at Adirondack for new A4 calipers
and adaptors to fit an A3. Will this fit on Rolling Roc?

Will there be e-brake cable issues? I'm aware of the bleeder being on the
bottom but I'm willing to deal with that not to have the dreaded "lock up"
feature.
