oil temp?

No its normal, don't worry about it.  VW's like to heat up when they go fast. 
 I often see 240f oil temps on my Vr6 with 85mph cruising, don't know what 
that is in celts though.  I'll see 125celts on the rocco but mostly hovers 
around 118c.
