car running on 3 cylinders



I never had a problem. I disassembled and re-assembled in the same manner, 
following the "Keeping your VW alive" manual.
May be the lock washer helped. I tightened it to the same approx tension as 
it came undone, and locked the washer.

Clean? I'll say. I was very careful.
