New Exhaust manifold vs. Header

*Blatant testimonial*- Before I got the TT street header I was running the 
stock manifold and a TT dual race downpipe. My engine (2.0-16V, Euro 50mm, 
chipped, Orrell Head, Schrick 268/276) just didn't seem to make power till 
after 4-5k. The header has noticeably improved midrange torque with no 
sacrifice on the top end. 

It also sounds pretty cool with the little shorty resonator Techtonics sells 
($80) to replace the cat...

 I'd recommend having it ceramic thermal coated for longevity sake, here's 
what mine looked like after I got it back from RM Engineering:

On an unrelated note, I can now claim to be an "official" list member- having 
bought a 1980 Scirocco project last week...
