interesting coolant stuff - VW related write up

My Volvo blew a waterpump gasket one day on the way home from work. I =
had to pull into a hospital just a few miles from my house because the =
car was overheating. I looked around for a source of water to fill the =
thing back up and couldn't find water anywhere. Refusing to wait 45 =
minutes for a tow truck to get me the 2 miles to my house I went to the =
hospital cafeteria and bought 8 bottles of Dasani water. I poured it =
all into the cooling system and drove the car back to my house. It was =
cheaper than a tow truck and I was home in 5 minutes.

distilled water, spriing water or just plain drinking

thinking of getting on a corvette forum and see if I
can stir a "wash your car water debate on it..
