moisture in the distributer woes



I'd apply a bead of silicone to around the cap, and let it set up and cure. 
then reassemble the distributer and then silicone will seal and but not bond 
to the distributer allowing for easy removal. I recommend high temp silicon. 
we use to do this to jeeps before going boggin.
