Compression testing - motor out of car



yup. bolt a tranny or bellhousing onto the engine with a flywheel and 
pressure plate and hook a starter and battery up to it. The numbers probably 
wont be as close seeing as how the engine is cold. And they probably wont be 
as high as a normal test would show due to it being cold also.
