Interesting upper front strut bar

Autotech?  Never saw one before.  

Glancing at it with an engineer's eye, it looks like a sad joke.  The supports over the bearings
stick up way too high to be of serious use, and the piece that goes to the front attaches to a
member with little structural significance.

If you want to triangulate, figure out how to tie it into the firewall at a suitable location.

It looks like a kluge to me....
