Flange pic and measurements



hmm, ah-ha! now i know what flange that is. that is a flange from a factory
lsd equipped 90mm flange housing. it must hold the spring in place of where
the old style seal would mate, so that housing (that that flange came from)
must have the larger seals, meaning when you stick that flange on the
tranny, it should seal with the larger ring.

but

you are putting those flanges on a 2h, right?
2h trannies were made up to 83, and i dont think they equipped the factory
lsd that far back, meaning that it should  have the smaller seals, and
cannot properly seal against those flanges (they would seal against the
tapered part), requiring the green sleeve / larger seal mod.
...or you can be lucky, and the 2h had a factory lsd, meaning it has the
larger seals already. then its a drop in replacement.
