Removing the brake booster?

I want to remove the brake booster from my '79.  I converted to 16V
booster, master cylinder and rear disks.  Now, I need a new master
cylinder so I decided to get rid of the booster.  I bought a 17mm from
an early Rabbit, but I don't have the bracket to mount it to the fire
wall.  Has anyone done a conversion like this before?  Any tips or
advice for me?
